Decking condition
Once we tear off the old shingles, soft or delaminated decking underneath has to be addressed before anything new goes down, otherwise the new roof won't hold.
What to expect during the replacement
We start with a tear-off down to the decking so nothing is hidden under the old roof. Any soft or damaged decking gets replaced before new underlayment and ice and water shield go down at the eaves and valleys. From there we install the new asphalt shingles, ridge cap, and flashing, and we clean the property before we leave. Most homes are a one to two day job once we're on site, depending on the size, pitch, and weather, and we walk you through the timeline before work starts so there are no surprises about how long your home will be under construction.
